Strange happenings in the blogosphere around Halloween

It’s that time of year again, with the most recent applicant applying to join  Northern Irish bloggers looking like his/her blog doesn’t exist. If it did exist the blog would be called The Failings of the Progressive Unionist Party and would be about [as the applicant has written]…

The PUP would seem to have so many things in it favour. Socialist in an urban area, pro-union (for a unionist electorate a difinite plus) and anti-sectarian. Yet the party fails miserably at elections. Why is this so? Does their continuing link with the UVF work against them? Is there no fertile ground for the left within unionism? Are they a Belfast party? The PUP would seem to have so many things in it favour. Socialist in an urban area, pro-union (for a unionist electorate a difinite plus) and anti-sectarian. Now I’ve to put on my ghost-hunting outfit and find out if it really is there. WHooooooooooo. I might even try to contact the late great David Ervine and see what he thinks about this.WHooooooooooo. Let’s hope williamkimber1@yahoo.co.uk isn’t the devil reincarnate.
